What kind of work can I get with a degree in Mathematics?
I didn't specialize in anything. I'm about to graduate with a B.S. in mathematics but my courses were pretty general. Nothing like engineering.
What kind of work can I do with that?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The most lucrative by far is to become an Actuary: this takes several more years at college but the salaries are higher than those for doctor / lawyer / etc.
Next best option is (if the content of your degree is relevant) to become an engineer, followed by computer software engineer.
Teaching at first or second level is possible too ( as mentioned above), but does not pay so well.
If you have areally high GPA then try for actuary.

M$If you don't have a license yet or you don't have plans on getting one, you can just offer Math tutorials.
You can also enter business firms and work on finance department though they'll be prioritizing Commerce or Accounting graduates here. So, the best pick will still be for you to be a Math teacher.
