I suggest a variation of the Green Goblin's rocket sled. This vehicle requires a skilled rider that can guide by shifting his body. This would keep spidy's hands available for webshooting, and the rationale for the sled can be inserted into the comic easily.
Ex.
1)He takes it from the Goblin on one of his wins.
2)The goblin develops a rocket sled that can greatly outspeed and outmanuver Spiderman, which forces Spiderman to work with someone to get his own version (Write in a team up with Shield or Stark Industries* here)
*Iron Man crossover!
