What kind of meals can be cooked in a microwave?

I have been using my microwave to heat up foods and drinks. On festive periods, I also make use of the grill in it, but I have never tried cooking with it. Recently, I read that it has become one of the fastest ways to bake a quick cake for visitors and that it can also be used to cook different kinds of food. Does anyone have an idea of the type of food one can cook in the microwave?

My husband has become quite the chef at cooking scrambled eggs in the microwave. He places a small amount of butter in a wide mouth coffee mug (microwave safe) and then scrambles the egg in the coffee mug. Place in the microwave for about 40-60 secs (depending in wattage) and serve. We have also cooked the following items in our microwave.
1. Baking Potatoes
2. Veggies (steamed)
3. Fudge
4. Bacon

Learn more about your microwave capacities by searching the brand name (and model) online. I didn't include recipes/link because you didn't specifically request that information.

You can make plenty...from appetizers to main dish to soups to dessert... some of the recipes I have requires 50/50...meaning you need to cook some of the stuff on the skillet then add it all up in the microwave. Generally, it's the meats that require such tasks... :)
