You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There are many types of accessories for the Wii remotes. They are used by placing the Wii remote itself inside one of the accessories. A few of the first games they came out with were the Wii Sports which included tennis, golf, and baseball. They came out with a different accessory for each of these games. There is a tennis racket, golf club, and a baseball bat. All of these are meant to give make you feel more like you are actually playing each game in real life.

There are many more new and exciting accessories they are coming out with including boxing gloves and a crossbow gun. They also have many different guns to choose from. There is a rifle for BuckHunter and some others including the Wii Zapper and Wii Combat Shooter. I hope you find all of the accessories you are looking for!!!

Hi @emmadog!

If you're looking for real controllers that have been released for the Wii, I can only think of a couple. This is because due to how its controller's/wiimote's work, hardware manufacturers have just come up with the idea to build all sorts plastic peripherals from swords, to steering wheels and light guns with slots for a wiimote to attach to.

There are a couple standouts though that can actually improve your gaming experience. One is the Wii Zapper, which can help you point the Wiimote on your screen more accurately. I guess you can include those Wii Steering Wheels as well, especially for the little kids.

Actual Wii peripherals released though include the Balance Board and the Wii MotionPlus. The Balance Board was introduced primarily for the WiiFit game. Now, its used in a wide variety of games such as dance games, skateboarding games, and other sports related games released on the Wii. The Wii Motion Plus on the other hand was introduced together with the sequel to Wii Sports – Wii Sports Resort. It basically attaches underneath the Wiimote and improves its motion abilities, giving some games in Wii Sports Resort almost true 1:1 motion. This will be needed for the new Zelda Skyward Sword game to be released next year, where you'll be able to control Link's sword using the Wiimote + Wii MotionPlus attachment.
