What is your opinion on the aerial prankster attacking Tiger Woods during the Masters?

As Tiger receives an unexpected warm welcome on the course, the skies prove to be less friendly for the professional golfer as a pilot is continuing to fly above the Masters with harsh words for Woods. Do you think the pilot is pushing the topic too far as the rest of the nation appears to be forgiving and forgetting?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

When you become a part of the public eye, you open yourself up to these sort of things.

He got caught cheating on his wife with MULTIPLE other women. When your famous, and you behave a certain way, it's going to attract attention.

The person that pulled this stunt, did it in a funny, lighthearted way. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Tigers people were not behind it. Making fun of the situation is a great way to put a light "spin" on his public image right now. When we laugh at things, we tend to forget all the "bad" press from before. People may even feel a bit guilty about how the media treated him when the news first broke.

"Booty" by no means is a harsh word. That banner could have said a million worse things. This is a prank, of the good old boy variety, and not completely undeserved. I think it was meant to be more funny than hurtful. Right now is about re building his image.

Well personally I am tired of hearing about Tiger's antics for anything other than golf. I don't anyone needs to be in forgiving mode other than his wife, the women he used (if that was the case) and maybe the businesses he was sponsored by for dirtying their reputation a bit. I think we put athletes and other celebrities on to high a pedestal and expect them to be God-like. They are human and when they screw up, they do it just like anyone else. There are probably many many people who do the same things he has but thank goodness we dont have to listen to it.

As far as the pilot goes, ehh neither here nor there for me. If he wants to spend his money to do something that means nothing once he is out of the sky that's on him (or her!)

Freedom of speech allows the guy to do his airial display, that is as long as he strickly obeys the aviation laws pertaining to the airspace over the course, I'm sure he's being closely monitored.
It doesn't seem to be adversely affecting Tiger's game nor does it seem to be all that distracting in general.
I think the media is just trying to hype it up more then anything due to lack of any other distractors.
All in all Tiger seems to be handling his game quite well and the patrons are willing to seperate his personal life from his skill on the course.
What is happening in his personal life is really between him and his wife and doesn't concern me.
I'm glad to see him back on the course and playing the game.
The man is an amazing golfer.
I have to admit I thought the Bootyism remark was funny, I bet alot of people do.
So I have no problem if the guy flying the banner around wants to spent his time and money to execise his freedom of speech as long as he doesn't endanger anyone in the process.
Meanwhile the masters play the game and I bet more people are tuning in then ever before.
