I find it sad that a man of faith and conviction feels this way because of doctrine and the minority.

Sadly he is right to say it's a' lame duck' appointment and I don't think it's right
For me ( an atheist ) doctrine and faith and organised religion are separate entities and I get confused when one cancels out the other :(
