What is your idea about my home country, Finland?
(Sisu means sort of 'guts' but much more, we go through thick and thin and grey stone. Sibelius was a Finnish composer. Sauna you know, I hope? :-)

Here in the States, we have white-tailed deer running all over the place - it was different seeing herds of reindeer instead. ... and you've got great ice cream! And impressive castles - both "regular" and made out of snow.

M$Intelligent. It seems to be a very balanced country in many ways. You never hear about the riots in Finland, or the military coups, because they just don't happen. What we hear about is innovation, cooperation and ideas. And one of my Finnish friends is a math professor--a gorgeous math professor.
And delicious. One of my friends has made me pulla and Rönttönen. Cloudberries and all the different berries I love. And I now make viili in my kitchen. It's fun to eat and my 6-year-old loves it! I've had salmiakki. It's addictive.
