I think, strange as it sounds, my favorite zoo animal has to be the lamb. When I was a child of about 4 or 5, my family would go to the zoo and for some reason I would be completely terrified by the lambs and sheep there. One day, though, I conquered my fear and fed the little thing right from my hand. I was suddenly over it and I'll always remember those times fondly. It's weird what kinds of things children tend to be scared of.

On the other hand, I was never scared of spiders. But since these are not classified as insects I'll have to go with crickets as my favorite insect. We had one in our house once. It kept singing and singing, and we finally found it, hiding underneath a couch. It was freaky looking at it, because I had never seen one up close. I had only heard them from a distance outside. They're surprisingly loud too, when they're sitting right in front of you.

Well, thank you! I sure hope so. But... if I may ask... what makes you think that?
Your on the way to black belt. Good luck.
