What is your favorite website?

Any site. No specifics. Keep it clean.
Tip for best answer: M$0.30
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

www.mahlo.com , there just isn't enough time in the day to login and visit as much as I'd like, but when I'm on I can spend hours checking things out.

I have to say Mahalo. There is so much to read, learn and earn on here, that I find myself going nowhere but here. I love it though and eveyone here is so polite and helpful.

Thanks All !!

Besides Mahalo, which has proved so addictive I can't seem to put it down? Mahalo just paid for a new homeschooling book for my kids, and there's still enough left over from last month to pay my utilities. I was near the bottom of the list this month but hope to be higher next month!

Besides this one, it has to be Cake Wrecks. Who could have imagined the work of cake decorators could be so funny? I heard about a real-life cake wreck about a year before Cake Wrecks was started when the mother of one of my daughter's friends came rushing back to pick her up from class and was super mad. "Now she's going to be with me when I pick up her birthday cake!" Apparently the cake was supposed to have two lines: "Happy Birthday" and "Kaylee". What she got said "Happy Birthday Underneath Kaylee".

Kaylee was turning 8.

Other ladies told me "this happens all the time", but since we make our own birthday cakes in my family (between the professional chefs and professional artists) I really had no idea! So when I found Cake Wrecks I was instantly hooked. Don't laugh, but every morning my whole family gathers around the computer to view the daily entry. And we've sent in a couple of cakes we've seen ourselves.

I have to agree that Mahalo is addicting so it is currently one of my favorites.
Besides that, my website is my ultimate favorite. http://www.theglasshound.com

A three way tie for first between Facebook (keep it really personal, only a few people I really, really like), Twitter (I could follow links there all day), and Hulu (I don't own a t.v., so it's my best source of entertainment).

A close second to these three would be Mahalo, and not just because I work here. Even before I decided to become a full-time mahaloan, I loved coming here when I had downtime just to read and answer questions. It's relaxing to me.

My favorite website is www.rense.com

It's an alternative news site I first heard of from my grandfather over ten years ago. My grandfather used to tell me about all these "crazy things" that are hitting it mainstream today: questioning the safety of vaccines, questioning safety of water fluoridation, GMOs, the Fed, what really goes on in government, and a whole lot of other things that I'm not mentioning because this isn't the place to debate them with anyone.

Of course, not everything on Rense is true, but that is left up to the reader to decide. This concept is a little different from mainstream media, who attempts to pass everything off as unwavering truth, even though most people know it isn't.

Another fun thing about Rense is that it has interesting and humorous illustrations such as I have posted below.

You're welcome. Be careful with that site, it's addicting and may convince you of some ideas that others will tell you you're "crazy" for believing. I mean, I almost believe in that HAARP weather control machine idea (which my grandfather also talked to me about a long time ago).

Is this a trick question?? :P

OK, not including Mahalo, which I spend most of my time on....

it has to be FARK.com for not-news, trolls and amazing insight into the minds of the internet.

The demographic of users is very wide spread so I get to 'hear' what lots of people around the world think about things
http://www.ignitesocialmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/fark.png

They really give it to mass-media! The whole idea is how stupid some of the main news really is, and all the little stories that should be on the news that aren't and how farked up some of the world is!

They now have a book out as well, a good read!!!!
http://newsblaze.com/pix/2007/0509/pix/drew-curtis-fark.jpg

How about this for readership - and the stat is a little old so there would be more this year
"Fark.com receives 50 million pageviews a month, making it the second largest independent news source on the Internet behind the Drudge Report, but funnier to read."
http://newsblaze.com/story/20070510064639tsop.nb/topstory.html

And in a competition with Florida, wow, Fark wins hands down hahaha
http://www.jaunted.com/files/3/fark_vs_florida.jpg

And yes! they have sucessfully made a new verb: farked
Example - "That girl is so farked up, I would never date her!"

No absolute favorites, Some sites are the most entertaining in their own way. I like to read Techcrunch.com and mashable.com daily, Digg for some interesting stories(which introduce me to dozens of interesting and funny sites everyday) and see what my favorite celebs are talking about in twitter. All this eats 2-3 hrs of my daily life, but i like it. Now I'm trying to be more useful at Mahalo. Also I try to earn some pocket money online from various sites, but it seems that i'm in the upper levels of mediocrity there. If you are interested, here is one new "creative" startup from ex-googlers and if you have got 500 twitter followers, you'll help both yourself and me: http://mylikes.com/signup?token=romeowildfire

http://www.chacha.com is my favorite website, well the guide part anyway. Because ChaCha has allowed me to work from home, make extra money, and continue to homeschool my children, without going into bankruptcy. There are so many websites that are awesome, and cool, but since you asked for a favorite, I shall digress.

My favorite websites are www.bodybuildingfitnessfigure.com and http://vandellacostumes.com/

I am an amateur figure competitor and this is my hub for all of my social networking sites. I am also the staff writer and moderator for the site. Also, there is a ton of good videos to watch for posing and pro bodybuilders who put a lot of great information out there for new comers to the sport. Vandella Costumes produces great posing suits which is very important for any competitor.
