What is your favorite watch?

I buy the 20 dollar wal-mart watch but it only lasts a few years. A high quality watch can last years. What brand and model do you find to be the best value?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Just as a helping hand, you can find some really great watch designs at The Watchismo Times http://watchismo.blogspot.com/

There are some really great watches that mix creativity and unique design, some more effective at actually telling time than others, but here are some of my favorites.

The Average Day watch - http://www.watchismo.com/mr-jones-average-day-watch.aspx

Urwerk's 202 Hammerhead Turbine powered Watch - http://www.urwerk.com/

Gerard Perregaux 1945 Jackpot Tourbillon - http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=2698783&rid=0

For a more commonly accepted watch design, I'd check out one of these favorites:

TAG Hauer: http://www.tagheuer.com/

Swatch: http://www.swatch.com/

Citizen: http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/home.asp

Fossil: http://www.fossil.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HomeView?langId=-1&storeId=12052&catalogId=10052&N=0

Rolex: http://www.rolex.com/en/index.jsp#/en/index

I am a big fan of Citizen watches. Their Eco Drive models are great. They are expensive, but I like nice watches and they are definitely worth it to me.

I like the more intricate faces with multiple uses and modes, such as this one:
