When I am not feeling well, I go for some peppermint tea. I cannot drink chamomile tea, although there are plenty of times when it would be nice to. I drink chai tea in the evening or before bed if I need to relax or am having trouble sleeping. Oregon chai tea is the best. They make a chai tea latte concentrate that can easily mixed with milk and drank cold or hot. (The powdered mix of this does not turn out so well, though.)
One of my recent favorites has been Yerba Mate Tea from Nativa. You order it online and you can also get a traditional gourd to drink it out of and a bombilla (which is like a straw). It is imported from Uruguay and has a number of added health benefits. It is also very smooth tasting.
I also like the chai tea that they serve at Pei Wei restaurants, but I am always tempted to drink too much. I also still drink plenty of black tea--just regular Lipton tea with no added sugar or anything. I drink that every day...along with a good mix of some other varieties.

M$I second this. I also only drink it hot...I'm not a fan of the iced. See also my answer for http://www.mahalo.com/answers/weight-loss/what-are-some-ab-busting-foods :)
Right now I drink alot of lemon balm tea because;
#1 I like it
#2 The lemon balm leaves are ready to be harvested and I have ALOT of it growing and have been drying lemon balm for a week now so have alot on hand.
Its refreshing by itself, slightly sweetened with white clover honey from my hives.
I also like a blend of lemon balm, blackberry, rose hips, gooseberry and a small amount of mint.
But like I said I blend alot of different herbal teas and my favorites change with my mood or desired effect I'm seeking with my tea at a given time.
If I were to suggest a "store bought" tea it would have to be the Native American Tea Company.
I keep a supply of their 6 herbal teas on hand and enjoy each blend. Top notch quality ingredients and can be ordered direct from the company (which is 100% native american owned and operated.
If you enjoy trying new tea blends then I highly reccommend giving Native American Tea a try.
Its great stuff and good medicine.
Of course Its not as good as growing and blending your own teas, but its the next best thing.

M$Not so much for hot teas, but I guess that Earl Grey and Green are good. I always like green tea with sushi anyway.

M$I agree also. The chai tea at Pei Wei is the bomb. All of this talk about it makes me want to go there today.
I live in Chinatown; I was the co-owner of an Asian furniture store (mostly Chinese) and I've been to Hong Kong and MainlandChina. I also love Thai food. I was previously a concierge, so restaurant recommendations just come out of my mouth
Pei Wei is smartly not in Chinatown and they qualify as none of the above in my book--not even Thai. The noodles & soy sauce marginally enter it into the Asian category. I had the new Thai Mango Chicken & didn't dig it too much.
We went there because our about-to-be-6 son wanted the Honey Chicken & said he'd eat. He's been ordering and not eating lately, so we said we'd go.
For those that don't know, that's fried chicken chunks over rice, drizzled with honey
Last week he ate it all, this week, 3/4.
I got a to-go glass for my drink and filled the sucker, no ice. It's in the fridge now.
The orange tea, by the way, doesn't do it for me that much. I buy the Chai.
Yes, I stand corrected. Pei Wei is technically "pan-Asian," so I guess it would be a little bit of everything. I always get the Thai chicken, though. I like spicy stuff. My son just likes to get a bowl of noodles.
Oh, but Pei Wei is not Chinese.....it is more Thai.

M$I am also a huge fan of most any other types of tea. I'll drink any type of Chai or Jasmine flavored tea when I'm in the mood for something spicy; I'll drink Morning Thunder when I need caffeine in the morning. It's chock full of caffeine without the coffee stomach ache. I also love Orange Pekoe, Earl Gray, or even plan old tea.
The only hot tea I don't like is from McDonalds. I don't know why their tea isn't any good; their sweet tea and coffee are delicious.

That's such a huge category. I also really like Chinese green teas, again, that's a huge category. If you're interested in reading reviews of tea that various people have written (or rating teas for yourself) you may find this site that I have designed interesting:

It's an interactive website for tea ratings and reviews!
