Oh man, I don't know if I can pick a favorite. I am a tea fanatic, and I have two or three different kinds of tea that I drink on a regular basis. Any kind of green tea or white tea is good. These teas have a smoother flavor than regular black tea or orange pekoe tea. There are many different brands here, but they are all about the same, really. I drink the Celestial Seasonings variety. Another variation of green tea is to make your own Japanese matcha tea from green tea powder. Tea tastes so much fresher when it is freshly steeped or not in a bag. Although the bottled Lipton varieties are not bad if you are on the go.

When I am not feeling well, I go for some peppermint tea. I cannot drink chamomile tea, although there are plenty of times when it would be nice to. I drink chai tea in the evening or before bed if I need to relax or am having trouble sleeping. Oregon chai tea is the best. They make a chai tea latte concentrate that can easily mixed with milk and drank cold or hot. (The powdered mix of this does not turn out so well, though.)

One of my recent favorites has been Yerba Mate Tea from Nativa. You order it online and you can also get a traditional gourd to drink it out of and a bombilla (which is like a straw). It is imported from Uruguay and has a number of added health benefits. It is also very smooth tasting.

I also like the chai tea that they serve at Pei Wei restaurants, but I am always tempted to drink too much. I also still drink plenty of black tea--just regular Lipton tea with no added sugar or anything. I drink that every day...along with a good mix of some other varieties.

Oh, Earl Grey! Probably just because I've had it so often in my childhood that it brings back a nostalgic feeling. I like green tea too, but black tea (like Earl Grey) tastes the best to me.

It would be impossible for me to name a favorite tea as I am always experimenting with various blends of herbal teas that I blend myself.
Right now I drink alot of lemon balm tea because;
#1 I like it
#2 The lemon balm leaves are ready to be harvested and I have ALOT of it growing and have been drying lemon balm for a week now so have alot on hand.
Its refreshing by itself, slightly sweetened with white clover honey from my hives.
I also like a blend of lemon balm, blackberry, rose hips, gooseberry and a small amount of mint.
But like I said I blend alot of different herbal teas and my favorites change with my mood or desired effect I'm seeking with my tea at a given time.

If I were to suggest a "store bought" tea it would have to be the Native American Tea Company.
I keep a supply of their 6 herbal teas on hand and enjoy each blend. Top notch quality ingredients and can be ordered direct from the company (which is 100% native american owned and operated.
If you enjoy trying new tea blends then I highly reccommend giving Native American Tea a try.
Its great stuff and good medicine.
Of course Its not as good as growing and blending your own teas, but its the next best thing.

My favorite teas are Jasmine tea or peach iced tea. I love the flavor of both and for the peach iced tea I've found that it doesn't usually need any sweetener added to it.

The shop around the corner makes a great bubble tea with their own blend called "Cinnamon Roll" (which does smell and taste exactly like a Cinnabon). I get it with extra milk/cream and tapioca pearls.

Not so much for hot teas, but I guess that Earl Grey and Green are good. I always like green tea with sushi anyway.

My favorite type of tea is Lipton's Diet Green Tea with citrus. Green tea is so good for you, and the citrus just gives it a natural sweet flavor. I like sweet tea too, but don't drink it nearly as much if I am trying to avoid extra sugar intake,

I usually just drink green tea, but I recently tried Tazo's Cinnamon Spice tea and it is DELICIOUS! Throw in some honey and it's even better. I'll definitely be having more.

My favorite kind of tea is the Chinese Chrysanthemum tea. It is very sweet and healthful for you. It is considered a necessary part of breakfast in Canton, I sometimes drink it in the morning as well.

Went to a chinese chain--Pei Wei Asian Bistro, operated by PF Chang's, last night and their Chai Cinnamon Spice Vanilla Iced Tea--not a latte but just brewed tea--with something sweet in it, is out of this world.

Whoever in the world these girls are, they seem to agree.

I agree also. The chai tea at Pei Wei is the bomb. All of this talk about it makes me want to go there today.

I live in Chinatown; I was the co-owner of an Asian furniture store (mostly Chinese) and I've been to Hong Kong and MainlandChina. I also love Thai food. I was previously a concierge, so restaurant recommendations just come out of my mouth

Pei Wei is smartly not in Chinatown and they qualify as none of the above in my book--not even Thai. The noodles & soy sauce marginally enter it into the Asian category. I had the new Thai Mango Chicken & didn't dig it too much.

We went there because our about-to-be-6 son wanted the Honey Chicken & said he'd eat. He's been ordering and not eating lately, so we said we'd go.

For those that don't know, that's fried chicken chunks over rice, drizzled with honey

Last week he ate it all, this week, 3/4.

I got a to-go glass for my drink and filled the sucker, no ice. It's in the fridge now.

The orange tea, by the way, doesn't do it for me that much. I buy the Chai.

Yes, I stand corrected. Pei Wei is technically "pan-Asian," so I guess it would be a little bit of everything. I always get the Thai chicken, though. I like spicy stuff. My son just likes to get a bowl of noodles.

Oh, but Pei Wei is not Chinese.....it is more Thai.

STASH Premium's Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut Tea. It has a rich flavor for a reasonable price. Add a little milk to bring out the flavor of the chocolate. You will like it.

I am a huge fan of Chai Tea; it's my absolute favorite. The sweet and spicy tea is rich and delicous, and it's great either hot or frozen. Starbucks makes the best Chai; you can get it either at the Starbucks cafe, or you can buy the Tazo box of Chai, mix it with warm milk and top it with whipped cream. Yum!

I am also a huge fan of most any other types of tea. I'll drink any type of Chai or Jasmine flavored tea when I'm in the mood for something spicy; I'll drink Morning Thunder when I need caffeine in the morning. It's chock full of caffeine without the coffee stomach ache. I also love Orange Pekoe, Earl Gray, or even plan old tea.

The only hot tea I don't like is from McDonalds. I don't know why their tea isn't any good; their sweet tea and coffee are delicious.

Loose-leaf Masala Chai. It has cardamom, ginger, and cloves. I dip dark chocolate into my cup and nibble on the spiced corner of my chocolate. I'm in heaven! Best and most spicy masala chai I've bought is from an online store, Element Tea. If you don't like chocolate...for any reason unknown to man....just add milk and sugar. BE-AUTiful!

It's really hard for me to pick a single favorite type of tea. I really like oolong teas:

http://ratetea.net/style/oolong-tea/3/

That's such a huge category. I also really like Chinese green teas, again, that's a huge category. If you're interested in reading reviews of tea that various people have written (or rating teas for yourself) you may find this site that I have designed interesting:

It's an interactive website for tea ratings and reviews!

at Teavana they usually have the awesomes blends. My absolute favorite right now is called Samurai Chai Mate, which is a mix of rooibos tea, chai, and mate. It's pretty good, you should check it out. I guess if I have to pick one, my favorite is chai, I love how it's a little spicy.
