I have been throughout the Middle East, but nothing else out there comes even close to the taste of good Moroccan. The history of the country creates a beautiful diversity in their food.
My favorite is the chicken cooked with cinnamon and wrapped in a puff pastry dough. It melts in your mouth! I'm in heaven when I'm eating this food.

M$Tomatoes are hard to substitute for. Maybe some red bell peppers? For olives, adding another pickled/salty food will do.
Interesting. My husband is part Italian and loves pasta. He doesn't like tomatoes, though, and I don't like olives. Do you know any good substitutes for those two ingredients in this recipe?
The only other way I would have pasta is with bacon & some mushrooms. It's a bit more of a substantial meal than just tomatoes. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2329/bacon-and-mushroom-pasta
Thanks, Silverrain. :)

I admire them because there is such a large variety of different Chinese dishes, and everything is very fresh. They make up only one big skillet of a main dish at a time so are constantly replacing the containers of a wide array of well-known dishes.
They have most of the traditional main and side dishes so that customers can get a taste of a large selection of Chinese food. There are 3 soups (wonton, egg drop, and another), peel-and-eat shrimp, other seafood, a crab mixture in a fried wonton, some other interesting side items I don't know the name of, a big salad and fruit bar, and the famous fried sugared small doughnuts!!
There are also different Chinese cookies and cakes for dessert, but my favorite is their homemade banana pudding, which is delicious.
Hot Chinese tea and a fortune cookie complete the traditional Chinese meal.

I have to admit that I've been lazy when it comes to cooking Moroccan food. I usually go out for the 'experience'.
I did find this website that shows you not only how to make some great dishes, but also how to present the food and serve it!

Interesting. Have you tried cooking any Moroccan dishes at home and/or do you know where I might find some recipes that I can make at home? I've never tried Moroccan food before.
Thanks for the website. :)
