For a new TV series try The Unusuals which is after Lost. The Unusuals is one of those new weird shows in the vein of Lost, Heros, Lost on Mars, Daybreak and other weirdies. The cast is interesting, the plotting is tight a nd there is some humor. Harper's Island was not that good. Dollhouse is getting better.

My favorite t.v. show is currently Weeds by Jenji Kohen. The show is about a lady who has 2 sons and her husband dies and to pay for the life they are used to she starts selling weed. You don't have to smoke it to like the show however. It is just very interesting. The show starts slow and makes you pay attention. The show has many twists and turns, makes you want more. I am at the point that I feel that I know the charecters. Like they are part of my family or something. I can't wait to watch it tonight. I get the netfilix and almost can't wait to open them. I find myself thinking how she will get out of the stuff she gets into.

I second that. I recommend it if you're interested in comedy combined with medical science (especially physiology and pathology), and drama. "Two thumbs up."

It's a year old, but I really enjoy Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a struggling high school chemistry teacher with a handicapped teenage son and pregnant wife. When the already tense White is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he breaks down and turns to a life of crime, setting up a meth lab with his former student Jesse Pinkman in a desire to secure his family's future financial security.

Based on your profile, "Consumer Electronics, Movies, TV, ...,Video Games", I think you might enjoy CBS' "The Big Bang Theory". It speaks to the geek in me, I suppose.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles follows the life of Sarah and her son John as they run and try to evade the "terminators" or high-tech robots from the future that were sent to "terminate " or annihilate them.

The pilot episode will have Sarah deliver a monologue that goes "There are those who believe that a child in the womb shares his mother's dreams, her love for him, her hopes for his future. But what if you've known since he was inside you what his life held for him?

That he would be hunted, that his fate was tied to the fate of millions, that every moment of your life would be spent keeping him alive. Would he understand why you were so hard?"

Dexter Morgan is a forensic blood spatter expert for the Miami Dade Police Department by day and a serial killer by night. He hunts down grievous criminals who have escaped the justice system. His policewoman sister, his colleagues in MDPD and his girlfriend have no idea Dexter lives a double life except his adoptive father, Harry. In fact, he helped Dexter perfect his "skills" in enforcing this unique brand of justice that Dexter feels a psychological hunger for.

This are some of my favorite shows besides this "Prison break" is too a good all time Good tv show.

My favorite show is Penn and Teller's: B*llshit! on Showtime (also available on DVD, seasons 1-5).

If you are unaware, the show tackles whatever P & T consider "b*llshit," from pseudoscience (magnet therapy, reflexology), to spiritualism (communication with the dead), from hyper-environmentalism (buying carbon credits) to PETA (alterior agendas).

This is not only one of the most entertaining shows I've seen, but it also is a great primer for critical thinking for anyone that is not familiar with the concept.

If you are already a skeptic, then this show will only reinforce your beliefs and having you laughing hysterically. If you know someone who is spending money on "alternative medicine" or "designer spring water," I highly recommend you getting this for their birthday.

They are on the 6th season (which I feel is a bit weak), and there are so many great episodes that you can basically watch the entire series straight through without running into much filler.

It's not new, but it's new-ish. I'm really getting into Bones lately. It's kind of X-Files meets CSI meets House.

http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2006/08/09/bones_narrowweb__300x395,0.jpg

The real author is the "real" Bones, one of the only forensic anthropogists around, who happens to be a best-selling mystery author. The character of Temperance Brennan is based on herself.

The mysteries are likewise based on her life and writings. They're gross, which I'm not really into; but the use of science and intuition to solve them is great.

There's also an interplay of characters which is fun, smart and witty. Bones herself is a "squint", a real geek who tends to describe people's reactions in words instead of reacting. She uses words as a shield sometimes. She's a scientist at the "Jeffersonian", a thinly-veiled copy of the Smithsonian, where she normally researches deaths that are hundreds of years old. But once in awhile, the FBI will find a fresh body in such weird circumstances that they need to pull in her specialized knowledge.

Thus she has a partner, Sealey Booth, a Iraq War veteran and single dad. He gets all the pop culture stuff that goes right by her, and has to keep reminding her to speak English. But he's smart and an expert at reading people. It's often his hunches that spur her to look at something more closely.

Up until this season, she had a grad student, then assistant, named Zach. Zach was even less socially ept than Brennan, having gotten his masters before most kids even graduate high school. Most of the staff acts pretty protective of him.

Zach lives in the garage apartment of Dr. Jack Hodgins, who is handsome, fun-loving (gets grounded for firing a cannon in the lab, obstensibly to see what happens when a meteor strikes a frozen corpse). He's the "bug" and particulate guy when it comes to corpses or bones. He also happens to be secretly be one of the richest men in the world who actually owns a large section of the Jeffersonian, including the one they work in.

Dr. Hodgins has off and on been the romantic interest for Angela Montenegro, fun-loving artist who is also Dr. Brennan's best friend from college. Angela, although not a scientist like the rest of them, can make amazing reconstructions and virtual death reenactments. She helps Dr. Brennan, and sometimes Zach, relate to "normal" humans.

Finally, there's Dr. Cameron, who is a more typical forensic specialist. She only works with "meat", not bones. But often both specialties are needed. She is the actual head of the team.

There are also a few other characters: Dr. Brennan's dad (a convicted murder, who says he's innocent, and who disappeared when she was 15, leaving her to foster care); her brother and his family; the fiery lawyer is usually on their side but sometimes not.

Here are a couple of good scenes:
