Being an avid art collector since I was in my teens I have amassed an extensive collection...far to many pieces to display them all at once. Owning an antique & collectible mall for 12 years back in the late 80s and 90s fed my appetite for art almost to the point of hoarding.
I tend to collect artists who are living and still producing new works and artists who have lived during my lifetime...I own a hugh Maxfield Parrish collection, 100s of pieces.
I collect everything from animation cel art to french art glass (Sabino being my favorite)
If I were to spend the big bucks and purchase another piece of art at the present time i believe it would be another of Christian Lassen's works...there's a paticular piece currently available that is really calling my name, but I need a new tractor worse at the moment, lol.
I've added Youtubes of some of the artists works which i do own originals pieces of as well as links to their individual sites.
I won't say what pieces i own other then to say that each of them appear somewhere in the videos.
Bunny you might enjoy some of Parrish's works as he was quite fond of portraying redheads.
Enjoy!

M$I have collected quite a few famous artists paintings in print form and had them mounted on nice wood boards. I used to visit the Reprint Mint in Berkeley and spend way too much every time I went. http://www.reprintmint.com/
One of my favorites is called 'Fuzzy on GG Bridge' by Michael Leu.

I like the bright blue and red that dominates it.
As far as abstract... I have a Hans Hofmann print, but I've yet to find its duplicate online. http://www.hanshofmann.net/
For romantic artists, I've always fancied John William Waterhouse since he does such a good job with redheads. I have only collected Echo and Narcissus but there are at least 10 others that I'd like to have including The Magic Circle.

And lastly, I have a small collection of prints of favorite black and white photography like Herb Ritts, and even one by Maplethorpe, but it's not not one of his 'dirty' ones.

Oh man! An original Jo-Jo! That's special!
Speaking of Parrish... I forgot that my brother gave me old hard bound copy of [[Arabian Nights]] that is illustrated by him. But I sure would rather have a painting.
Every time I see an intense sunset or sunrise with pink and purple hues... I know that Maxfield is up there painting it for all of us to see.
Those C. Lassen's are amazing! You are a lucky man, having some of those! I haven't been able to find any done by Jo Jo, but he may come over here for a holiday, and do some more to sell.
