What is your favorite sitcom of the 1990s and why?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$I had a BF once who was so jealous of the fact that I would not miss Friends for anything, that he would purposely call me at 8:00 every Thursday night. He hated the show. I got to where I would just answer, say "8 o'clock, Friends, later." and hang up. It was just so petty of him to do that.
Friends was the one show where I had a hard time picking a favorite, but if I had to pick a guy and a girl, it would be Phoebe and Joey. Nothing funnier than a beautiful, spacey chick and a really dumb, good looking guy.
Joey's spinoff was badly written and badly managed, I think, because he was a great actor.

M$Unfortunately for everyone else who's attempted to answer this question, lschwab is absolutely correct. Haha. You might think that colttrickle's question doesn't have a single correct answer...but you'd be wrong. Seinfeld is the answer. QED
Many people think that Seinfeld was a "show about nothing." However, really, the show was about everything. Specifically, many of the things in life that aren't often talked about. This probably is one reason why the show reached such a critical mass: people of all types could so easily relate to the topics the show dealt with.
But, certainly no one should take my word for it. Watch the show yourself! It's still syndicated on so many channels that you can catch an episode any day of the week. Watch a few episodes and you'll completely agree: If we're wondering what sitcom of the '90s was the best, the answer's simply got to be Seinfeld. Oh yes!
