what is your favorite sitcom?

I am finding some funny sitcoms on cable channels that I did not watch when they were originally on the air. I missed a lot of the eighties and nineties TV world, long story. Anyway, what is your favorite sitcom, either classic or current. Let's have some fun with this!
Tip for best answer: M$5.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Definitely 30 Rock. It is absolutely hilarious, and you never know who will be doing a cameo this week. I adore the show! It's the only one I think is funnier than Seinfeld.

I will second that my favorite sitcom is 30 Rock, although How I Met Your Mother comes in a close second.

Favorite sitcom ever: Arrested Development. I was so sad to see it go off the air, but I'm REALLY excited for the new movie!

I have to say The Big Bang Theory. Great script, smart jokes and a lot of background experience.

A silly sitcom I liked (that I can't seem to find in reruns) was "Perfect Strangers".

It has to be Married with Children. You do not appreciate the Sitcom until you are married..... Then it becomes a therapy session.

I loved Happy Days. Who doesn't like the FONZ and the catchy theme song?

I think Still Standing is hilarious, even though it doesn't get a lot of attention. The parents are terrible, and all of their situations are funny. There is also Grounded for Life, which has a neat flashback approach, but there aren't a ton of episodes. Scrubs and That 70's show are really popular, and there are a lot of funny episodes. Personally, I'd start with Still Standing, since it comes on like 4 times a day on the right channels.

I think George Lopez was great. It's now on Nick at Nite. When I watch it, I laugh so loud. And sitcoms are not usually my TV of choice. I think Lopez is one of the best comedians right now.

Currently, I love My Name is Earl. That show is absolutely hysterical. Jaime Pressly is hilarious. You've gotta give this one a try.

A show that I never watched when it was new, but now watch re-runs of is Everybody Loves Raymond. That show is so funny, and I can relate so well with the storylines.

The four classic shows that I can still watch, despite having seen every episode, are;
1. Mork and Mindy
2. Murphy Brown
3. The Cosby Show
4. I Dream of Jeanie

If it needs to be only one choice, it would be "Two and a Half Men".
I still like Seinfeld and Friends too!
