What is your favorite Samuel Adams flavor?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I am partial to the cherry wheat. Even my wife likes it and she usually hates all beers. It doesn't go well with every food though, so keeping other flavors around is a must.

Introduce your wife to some Lambic, look for Lindemann's, it's sweet and fruity, and delicious. I've also had good luck with Hoegaarden, a gently spiced witbeer.

Sam Adams does the best lager I've had, so I'll vote for their Boston Lager. Some of their others are decent, but they tend to be hit or miss, and more seem to be misses to me at least.

As far as alternates, their oatmeal stout is good, hefeweizen is acceptable, Boston Ale isn't bad, and the summer ale is nice if you like them really light.

It makes me sad, but Old Fezziwig which you haven't been able to get full packs of for many years. You can only get two of them with the holiday 12 pack.

While I was in graduate school in the mid-90s in North Carolina, during the holiday season (Thanksgiving and Christmas, I think) my wife and I could get Samuel Adams' Cranberry Lambic in the local stores. This beer became our substitute for cranberry sauce at our holiday meals for several years, and I miss it terribly. (This doesn't mean it's any good.)
