One of the best things about Walt Disney World is the diversity. All four theme parks are different, as are the water parks. There is so much to do that it is almost impossible to see it all.
The best rides for young children are found at the Magic Kingdom. Kids of all ages will enjoy It's a Small World or The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Space Mountain is a good first roller coaster and fun for all ages. If you're looking for bigger thrills you'll want to check out Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Staying on property is a way to totally immerse yourself in the Disney experience. Pop Century Resorts is good if you're on a budget. If you can afford to splurge, try Animal Kingdom Lodge.
