Two other features/gadgets that have been extremely helpful are the air pressure sensors for my tires and OnStar. The tire sensors let me know my tire was low when I was driving 75 on an interstate so I could safely lower my speed and OnStar directed me to the nearest tire shop. Without these, I wouldn't have known about the nail in my tire until it was flat and I would have been changing the tire in 105 degree heat. And I probably would have ruined a very expensive rim. Both safety features have paid for themselves in this case.
