What is your favorite movie quote?

I know it’s difficult to pick just one so how about a few of your favorites. Some of mine are…
"I may be a stupid man, but I know what love is." Forrest Gump

"Always remember, life is not how many breaths you take, it's how many moments take your breath away." Hitch

"Don't ever let someone else make you feel that you don't deserve what you want." 10 Things I Hate About You

"As God is my witness, I'll never go hungry again." Gone With the Wind

An oldie but a goody. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn." Gone With the Wind.

And my all time favorite is…"I'll never let go Jack, I'll never let go." Titanic

I have a lot of favorite movie quotes. Some are just silly and really don't make any sense.

This one is a classic. It's from the movie Dirty Dancing. At the end of the film, Patrick Swayze walks up and says "Nobody puts Baby in the corner"... classic.

Of course there is also the movie A Few Good Men. While on trial Jack Nicholson exclaims "You can't handle the truth"..

This one just makes me giggle when I hear it. From the movie Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts character is explaining how grand the hotel room is and says "It's bigger than the Blue Banana". I'm not sure why I find that funny I just do.

And lastly my favorite quote from the movie Forest Gump. “Me and Jenny, we's like peas and carrots”

My favorite quote in a movie is 'Mansfield Park'. This is one of my most favorite movies of all time. Of course, it is also a novel by Jane Austin, but I haven't read the book, so I am not sure if it is exactly the same. As much as I love this movie, I don't think it would be nearly as good without the quote "Surely you and I are beyond speaking when words are clearly not enough". Edmund says this to Fannie, the love of his life after they have been apart for some time.

Another quote I love from a movie is in Juno. It's when Juno is talking to her stepmother and she is talking about sacrifices in life. About, how she had to delay getting her dogs because of Juno's allergies. Then Juno tells her "Woah... Dream Big!". (see about 2:40 of the video) I just love that. It's sarcastic as all get out and I say it all the time. I also like when the guy says, “That ain't no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can't be un-did, homeskillet.”

"There is no spoon" from The Matrix. The first matrix movie came out in theaters 14 days after my 12th birthday. As is was rated "R" I was not allowed to watch the movie and honestly had never even really heard of it until after it came out on DVD. Sometime between the DVD release and the 2nd Matrix movie I got my hands on the DVD, watched the movie and fell in love with it. I was probably around 14 years old when I finally saw it and at that age I of course wanted to be Neo.

The quote is great because of the kids voice, of course, and because it shows how the world is not 'real' and probably helped Neo understand a lot of what he learned about the Matrix.

mine is from "Dan in Real Life" There is a part where Dan is talking to the children of the house and says:

"Life... is full of disappointments. Some bigger than others."

Not the greatest movie, but it has its good points.

"I want you to get swept away. I want you to levitate...Sing with wrapture and dance like a dervish. Be deliriously happy, or at least leave yourself open to be."

"Find someone who you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back... To make the journey and not fall deeply in love-- well, you haven't really lived a life at all. But you have to try, because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived...Stay open. Who knows? Lightning could strike!"

Both of these are from ''Meet Joe Black''. I included the video because I love this entire scene.

"One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know."
Animal Crackers

This one just makes me smile because every time I hear it I picture an elephant in a pair of flannel pajamas.

"Your mom puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?"
Real Genius

This movie has a lot of great quotes.

I have many more but those are my top at the moment.

I am a huge fan of movies, and always have been! So to choose only one quote is very hard for me to do! I htink instead of one specific quote, I would have to say all of the “quotes” or lines that are in the John Travolta movie Pulp Fiction would have to be my absolute favorite! I love the way he speaks and all of the things he says. I like the attitude that he portrays and everything else. I also love the sound track, so I would definitely have to say ANY quote from that movie would be my absolute all time favorite quote!
This was a great question and I look forward to reading all of the other responses!

One of my favorite quotes would have to be, "I trust everyone, it's the devil inside them I don't trust." (Italian Job)
