What is your favorite free MMORPG and why?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My favorite it's Shaiya.

It has a great gameplay and team-play. Graphics are just amazing....and the PvP and PvE system is the best one I ever seen on a free MMORPG.Looks like Lineage 2 but it's not the same thing. What i like the most is the dificulty system. There are 4 modes: easy, normal, hard and ultimate. I also love the mounts! Nice MMORPG indeed!

Check this warrior!

I'm a fan of Atlantica. Unlike typical MMORPGs, it's turn based rather than real time hack-and-slash. Similar to Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea, if you've ever played those.

The world, NPCs and locations are also loosely based on history and historical fiction. The main town is Rome with NPCs like Maximus, Julius Caesar and Vulcanus. There's also an in-game encyclopedia so you're never confused about what you need for a quest or what an item is used for.

PvP tournaments are held frequently, and it's not intimidating for a PVP-phobic person like myself! The game is updated pretty regularly, adding in new mercenaries, items and systems. IMO, the only downside is that I think they change things too often, which is a pain if you're trying to sell something on the market.

I know that game. It's nice, but I'm not a turn based fan. The only game I really liked it's Heroes of Might and Magic ( all of them, obviously ).

I like Atlantica. The best part about it is no grinding. At least not until level 95.
