What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book or movie?

This question is for the present or back to your childhood. Me I love the Grinch!
Tip for best answer: M$0.37
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I too am a fan of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" I love the story of how Grinch transforms from a hater of Christmas, stealing all the trees, deocrations, gifts in Whoville, to showing that he has a heart and restores everything so the town can enjoy Christmas !

Ah to pick a favorite is so tough.

My most watched/most read would be How the Grinch Stole Christmas (book and original cartoon).

My favorite story, though, would be the Green Eggs and Ham book.

But when I want to quote the old Seuss, I always begin with "1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".

Finally, I found this online. It is an imitation of the style, but impossibly cute none the less: http://www.geneziegler.com/clocktower/DrSeuss.html. Very applicable since I am a Software Engineer...

The only Dr Seuss movie I have seen recently was Horton Hears A Who. I haven't read any of the books this millennium. I enjoyed Horton.

It is so hard to pick just one!

I love Oh the Places You'll Go!

and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, both the book and the cartoon, it's a family favourite at Christmas.

and The Lorax (great for teaching kids about conservation and protecting the environment).

"The Sneetches and Other Stories" is my favorite, although I'm also very fond of "Green Eggs and Ham." The Sneetches have a special place in this house, where we often refer people as Sneetches. The idea of trying to be with the in crowd - or race - by how many stars are on your belly left a lasting impression on me when I was little.
