My favorite dog Breed is the Dalmatian because they are so different to other dogs in terms of their look and I think they are really cool. I have found them to be a really loving and loyal dog as well so I would recommend them :)

My fave is my Bailey ! She is a Golden Retriever - one of the darker red color which is rare. Most are blonder in coloring. I had a Yellow Labrador Retriever (very alpha male dog and aggressive) and I had an adorable Beagle (great little buddy) but I always wanted a Golden. As a child we had a long haired German Shephard (well trained and loyal). S, I've had a few different breeds over the years.

I waited it out for 8 months until I found her - online. I applied to 2 rescue groups but was denied because we have asthma in the family (not dog induced but they did not care). I went to local shelters but nothing. I searched Petfinder.com - still nothing ! Then one day I looked on www.kijiji.com in the Pets section and there was an ad that was almost two months old for an AKC Golden Retriever puppy. When I emailed the owner I could not believe she was still available ! I picked her up when she was 6 months old and she has been the best dog ever! Obedient, loyal, playful, very patient, gentle with the mouth, completely house trained, a great swimmer, etc... and the best companion. She's at my feet as I type this. She was 1 year old this past Feb. '09 and will be with me 1 year this coming July 31st. She is my profile pic ! This was taken the day I brought her home.

I'm kind of partial to Shih Tzu's, My dogs name is Chewbacca and he is a two and a half year old Shih Tzu. We call him "Chews" or "Chewy" for short and I'm now feeling silly that I don't have one actual picture of my dog.
So this will have to do.

I recently lost my German Shepherd due to her age and bad hips. I currently own a 1 yr old Basset Hound, and a 6 yr old Jack Russell mix. I will have to say the shepherd is my favorite dog, although I do love them all.

I have 4 dogs, my favorite is my Maltese, Snowflake. She is the perfect lap dog and has very gentle and loving personality. When I am at home, she never leaves me for a second...not even to use the bathroom. I will admit she is yappie when she hears a siren or if the doorbell rings but her sweetness makes her worth hearing her yap.

This picture is a Maltese named Snowdrop which looks just like my dog!

My favorite breed of dog is the Rottweiler. When well-trained, they are intelligent, loyal and obedient. I currently am watching my second female wind down like a clock (she's 10). She's a great therapy dog, and has never been aggresive unless I directed her to be. I always feel safe with her around. She's a "worrier" and never likes it when a family member is out of her sight! When my oldest daughter left for college last fall, I thought was going to lose her...she was so depressed. Then my daughter came home at Thanksgiving and you could just see her thinking "Oh, she's OK, and she came back!" She's handled it better since then. I wish big breeds lived longer...

My fave breed is an Irish Setter because they're beautiful, smart and pretty good family dogs!! They're medium size and are awesome!

I must be truthful tho - we currently have a Chihuahua named Mr. Bean. He;'s super sweet, pretty mellow for a Chi and is very friendly and calm. He's a pretty cool dog, I have to admit! This isn't him, but i'm really surprised!! This looks JUST like him!!
