What is your favorite "adrenaline" song?

What song that gives you energy? Not necessarily your favorite song of all time, just the one that gets you going.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Both are PHENOMENAL bands. Jeff, I must say, you have a great taste in music! Foo Fighters is also great, I love their songs D.O.A. and The Pretender.

I liked them both as well, though I wouldn't call that Punk Rock.
This is what I call Punk Rock (again, I'm kind of old..)

I love Ministry songs, such as So What for motivation, but when I'm really worn down, I need to call in the big gun.

The big gun is none other than Frankie Laine's MULETRAIN!.

You can't not love this one. It cracks me up and makes me wish I had a can of beans cooking over a fire out in the prairie.

But..I'll see your Hank Williams and raise a Roger Miller - You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd. (no decent videos, but come on..those lyrics will make a grown man wet his pants any day of the week.)

"Under the Double Eagle" isn't really classical, it's a march for band.

albanian's Avatar
albanian | 2 years, 10 months ago Report

I can't sample the youtubes on this computer; but I still recommend a good brass band doing classic marches for adrenaline.

brian san's Avatar
brian san | 2 years, 10 months ago Report

I would agree. The problem with YouTube or other lower quality recordings is you lose much of the powerful low end sound of the drums and horns, which for me is where the adrenaline part comes from.

brian san's Avatar
brian san | 2 years, 10 months ago Report

Yeah, I think you are right there. My only excuse is that it's getting late here on the other side of the planet (or at least part of the way round in your case?). Though band music doesn't fare very well audio wise on YouTube either.

brian san's Avatar
brian san | 2 years, 10 months ago Report

Yes, YouTube doesn't really do classical music justice most of the time.
Vivaldi is my favorite. I was a little scared to find this "artistic" rendition

Well, I think my musical tastes stray a great deal from what most people on here seem to like. But, a few of my favorites would be:

Twilight Of the Thunder Gods- Amon Amarth
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eABVwEgzIss

Storm the Gates of Hell- Demon Hunter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya9MsR8qrBY

The Pursuit of Vikings- Amon Amarth
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPRt6Tt6RyM

I have a bunch more (as that is basically what most the music I listen to is like) but I think those 3 are enough for now :-D
