What is your experience taking doctor-prescribed human growth hormone?
My doctor, an endocrinologist, has prescribed me HGH after extensive testing.
What is your experience taking HGH?
What led your MD to suspect HGH deficicency?
What effects did you see on the HGH? One week out, two weeks out, one month out, two weeks out, etc.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My doctors told me that I would be smaller than my mum (who is 1,69 M) if I wouldn't take them. So I took them for about a year and thanks to that stuff I am now 1,84 M big and bigger as my mother, like the FSM intended things to be.
I had no negative side effects what so ever. I think, like in all things "medical", it's the amount of stuff that either causes side efffects or that doesn't. If you don't misuse it and your doctor is a good one (he sounds like one with all that testing) you will most likely only have good effects. I'm glad that I took them and I haven't heard of anyone who has told horror stories ("I was the motion-capture realsize model of king kong" or something) who has taken it after a good doctor told him to.

M$I wasn't asking for advice on whether or not to pursue HGH supplementation. I've already made the decision to. I was really interested in other people's personal experiences.
I'm concerned about your advice though and about other people potentially taking your advice on medical questions on Mahalo. Are you a doctor or nurse? I'm concerned because your advice is dangerously ill-informed and other people may think you represent some sort of medical authority. There are very few 'side effects' to HGH supplementation and they tend to be increased energy, better quality sleep, weight loss, and better mood. On the other hand, there are a number of serious life-threatening conditions linked to chronic low HGH.
I'm not taking HGH to 'grow' or for a 'growth spurt', I'm 24, I've stopped growing vertically and I wasn't prescribed HGH for my height, I'm 6'2"! HGH controls much, much more than growth, which is why many doctors are now referring to it as 'somatropin', not HGH.
Maybe you should do so some research before answering a question, a simple Google search maybe, you may get your answer marked best more often if you do. And when giving unsolicited medical advice, please indicate your level of medical training and experience (or complete lack thereof). Someone may follow your advice, get sick, and sue you and Mahalo. Or worse, they could die.
And please, run spell check before answering questions on Mahalo.
This is just my experience with taking medication like this.... O.k. buddy... you wanted someones opinion. Im just saying that there are always side effects to any medicine... and just to watch out for signs of anything not so normal.
