Years ago I got a speeding ticket in South Carolina. I was passing through on my way from NY to Florida. I tried paying the ticket by mail, and was told I could not - the ticket required personal appearance. (105 mph in a 65). Well on my way back to pay it about 30 days later. I was running late........and not paying atention to my speedomoter (again, lol) When the State Trooper pulled me over and asked way I was traveling so fast (90mph in a 65) ooops......I told him that I had to be in court by 9am, and I didnt want to be late ! He told me my excuse was lame, but thanked me for being honest, and let me go on my way with a verbal warning ! pheww
