What is up with The Whuffie Bank?
They launched last year at Techrunch 50 and not much has happened since then. They have promised Facebook integration but it has not shown up yet. Is there any recent news with regards to the Whuffie Bank, or the founders?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi Dave! Thank you for asking.
This is Martin (one of the founders). We keep working on the Whuffie Bank. Note that it's a non-profit organization so we might not advance/go at the same pace that the usual startup!
We release a first version on the API, working on international versions and coding/designing bigger improvements for the next couple of months. We also did some cosmetic changes on the design.
At the same time, there remains a lot of interest in the project. We are having record numbers for the visits/sing-ups in the website, there are new articles/posts about the projects and there's a good conversation with users around the world.
We set-up a page for those interested in helping us with the project: http://thewhuffiebank.org/static/supporters
Thank you for your interest and any feedback is welcome!

That's great, thanks for the update. I think I could do some videos of how to use whuffie. Also, is the API available yet? I created a bit of a job board but the api wasn't available when I created it.
Yes, I video would be great! There some users who still don't understand how it works or how to use it and that would help a lot.
The first version of the API is here: http://thewhuffiebank.org/static/api
