What is Twitter founder Evan Williams doing at the White House? @ev

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Here are two articles about the event:

* http://www.businessinsider.com/uh-oh-white-house-seeks-economic-advice-from-twitter-2009-3

It's kind of fun to watch the tweets come in from the attendees. Here's a partial list:
Ev Williams – CEO of Twitter - @EV
Hooman Radfar - CEO of Clearsprin @HoomanRadfar
Chris Sacca - @Sacca
Tony Hsieh – CEO of Zappos - @zappos
Michael Chasen – CEO of Blackboard - @michaelchasen
Jessica Jackley- co-founder of Kiva -
Ryan Allis – CEO of iContact -
Aaron Patzer - CEO of Mint - @apatzer
Jake Nickell – Founder & CSO of Threadless - @skaw

Cheers,

He is there as a group of 20 young entrepreneurs to meet with white house staff for the purpose of discussing ways to help economy that administration may not have thought of yet..

See the tweet from our pal Tony @zappos (who is also one of the 20)

"Meeting at White House tomorrow to discuss ways to help economy that administration may not have thought of yet. What are your suggestions?"
