Ahhh, MOMA! The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York offers something for everyone. Their exhibits change frequently, but as of January 23, 2011 some of their offerings include The Artistic Furniture of Charles Rohlfs, The Roman Mosaic from Lod, Israel , Rugs and Ritual in Tibetan Buddhism , Haremhab, The General Who Became King , American Landscapes, The South Asia Galleries -Gandhara, Mathura, Andhra and Gupta Sculpture, and Extravagant Display: Chinese Art in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries amongst dozens of others. If you enjoy art, this is definitely a premiere museum. Plan on spending at least 4 hours, if not more like an entire day!
