What is the word for a sentence that is intentionally left unfinished, such as, "Why I oughta..."?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Not quite...that's the punctuation, but thank you! There's a word for the sentence, and i can't remember where I read it.
I couldn't find a term for a sentence that uses ellipsis.
But ellipsis doesn't mean only the punctuation mark, it also means the phenomenon of leaving words out deliberately.
