No, I'm not kidding.
It was not made with the meat of the snake. The snake was parboiled in cream to remove some of the gaminess, and the cream was recycled into ice cream, which also incorporated rattlesnake eggs. It was flavored with nutmeg and cinnamon, splash of vanilla. The tase was similar to most other home made ice creams, with a similar texture, the only thing odd about it in tasting was a slightly oily aftertaste.
but I think the aftertaste may have been more mental than anything.

M$Balut is a duck egg with nearly developed embryo. It is boiled and eaten with salt or sometimes vinegar with chili. The taste, well for me it tasted good. I just don't like it when the chick/duck inside is bigger than it should be. T.T
I was watching Fear Factor before where there's a challenge to eat balut. As expected, they find it weird and icky since they aren't Filipinos.

M$Yet, as good as it is, it's the sort of food which I would readily eat when it is prepared for me, but I could never bring myself to prepare on my own.
