What is the single greatest Super Bowl performance of all time?

This year will mark the 44th Super Bowl in NFL history. There have been some amazing performances in the past 43 years. Quarterbacks have passed for 6 TD's, running backs have rushed for 200 yards, recievers have racked up 200 yards, and DB's have picked off 3 passes. If you want to display it as a list, feel free, but please give reasons for each one. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's so difficult to just pick one performance, so I narrowed it down to best passing performance, rushing performance, receiving performance and two defensive performances. For best passing performance, I chose Steve Young in Super Bowl XXIX. There were still doubts about Young taking over for Joe Montana, but Young threw for 325 yards and a record 6 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the San Francisco 49ers 49-26 victory over the San Diego Chargers. Best rushing performance goes to Marcus Allen in Super Bowl XVIII. He ran for 191 yards on 20 carries, which included a 74 yard run in the third quarter. The Oakland Raiders defeated the Washington Redskins 38-9. Best receiving performance goes to Jerry Rice in Super Bowl XXIII in the 49ers victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Rice caught 11 passes for 215 yards and had receptions of 7, 17 and 27 yards on the 49ers game winning final drive. The two best defensive performances go to Reggie White of the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXI and Rod Martin of the Raiders in Super Bowl XV. White had a record 3 quarterback sacks against the New England Patriots and Martin had a record 3 interceptions against the Philadelphia Eagles.

How about the Bears' defense in Superbowl XX:

10 points allowed
123 yards allowed
7 yards rushing allowed
2 interceptions
4 forced fumbles
7 sacks
1 safety
