By far, the rarest and most interesting exhibit at the Smithsonian are the two shrunken human bodies, which were acquired from the New York National Museum of the American Indian in 1989, but are no longer on display. What is so interesting about them, is that they are "furry" because all the tiny hairs on the body are now close together because everything was shrunken down!
