Here are some healthy foods for a gestational diabetes diet:
Vegetables - Eat a wide variety of different vegetables that are high in fiber and low in starch such as broccoli and spinach. Fiber will help with digestion. Include vegetables such as green beans, carrots, green leafy vegetables, etc.

Fiber - You will want to eat foods high in fiber such as beans and take fiber supplements that are unsweetened.

Whole Grains - For a gestational diabetes diet, you will want to eat a diet that is rich in whole grains but don't eat too many carbohydrates. Substitute wheat as often as you can. You can buy things such as wheat pasta, wheat tortillas, wheat flour, brown rice, wheat bread, etc.

Just eat those foods with complex high – fiber carbohydrates such as peas, fruits, vegetables, wholegrain products, oats, cereals and legumes.
