I can't really say I have heard of any natural cures for M.S., But I did hear from a few people who have tried a special diet, and has helped them a lot. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the Dr. who compiles this diet, but remember it was a Dr. from Boston. Maybe there is some info on the net about this, but maybe this snippet of info could assist you. I wish you well.

That's either the 'Swank' diet or the Best Bet Diet. There are quite a few places to go for GOOD information on more natural ways to fight 'MS'.
You should also look into CCSVI and the 'Liberation' procedure (as it was termed by the vascular professor who has been shown on CTV in regards to this breakthrough).
If you're on Facebook, just search for CCSVi and you'll find a huge amount of groups and information! :)
I have been scanned and have now been diagnosed with CCSVI. I am now just waiting on the go-ahead for the procedure here in the UK.
The group I run has LOTS of information on CCSVI, diet and alternative drugs...just go to http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=190973523058
All the members will b happy to give you a hand and answer any questions you might have. :) Rachael

Multiple Sclerosis affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other. Though the prognosis is difficult to predict, the brighter side of the disease is that it does not decrease the life expectancy of a person. Since it involves the nervous system, there are some nerve cell support supplements are available to stimulate the dieses.

Be very careful with "natural cures" there is very little evidence that they do you good, plus a lot are mixed with things that might mess with any medical drugs you may be taking.
I can understand you must be feeling pretty low and not sure where to turn to next, i myself was diagnosed with a not very nice genetic condition when i was 23.
But you have to ask your self this question-if these so called natural cures are so great how come modern medicine have never synthesised
the active ingredients before now?
Don't get taken in by all this ancient wisdom rubbish either because life expectancy even into the last century was down on what it is today.

The cause of Multiple Sclerosis is still unknown and the drugs that are available in the market actually don't cure the disease. The are just used to mitigate the pain. There is still no cure for Multiple Sclerosis and the drugs mainly help in reducing the relapses which take place. Some drugs also help in reducing the pain due to the disease. Some drugs reduce the severity of the symptoms. The drugs are mainly consumed through injections and some treatments are in the form of immunosuppressant medication. These drugs need administration from the doctor and self medication is never encouraged.

Special forms of physical exercises are encouraged as a form of treatment and occupational therapy is done in order to help patient perform everyday activities. Patients are taught to better manage their bowel and bladder functions.

Hope this helps.
