What is the name of this book (travel memoir)

The book is a travel memoir of a couple who win a contest and are able to stay at 4 and 5 star hotels throughout the world for free. However, in order to afford the airfare, they have to do it backpacker style - carrying backpacks, doing laundry in the sink, and making instant noodles in the bathroom.

I originally found the book in Australia during June 2006 - I've not been able to find it in a US bookstore since.

The cover shows a couple wearing backpacks and standing in the lobby of a very fancy hotel.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think the book is Absolutely Faking It by Tiana Templeman about a couple who wins a prize to stay at 14 luxury hotels and they backpack in between all over Europe and it is an Australian book.

That's it! Thank you!

I had selected 'no best answer' before you replied because the system told me that I needed to, but I've since gone through and added the tip for you.

Yeah, any more details would be great. I searched everywhere, but really hard without any hard details. Is it an australian edition? In which bookstore did you see it?

It was in a Borders, and the author was a woman who may have been Australian. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything else.

searched to find but unfortunately I didn't get anything. Can you remember any other details about the book, like any name, shop etc. about the book?
