What is the name of the "Mr Growly Voice" guy that does a lot of sweepers for Clear Channel? eg, WRVA/Richmond
I've heard him doing sweepers on other Clear Channel radio stations as well. ("Sweeper", i.e. "You're listening to Richmond's source for news, traffic and weather...."

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I really doubt we could find this out without calling the station manager, even they might not know. Usually Clear Channel takes care of that and just drops off what they need for that station. It's usually done by some lowly paid guy who does a million voice overs a day for some agency. Odds are he doesn't do anything else that you've ever heard or that would be interesting. Most likely just commercials, cuts, and sweepers.
No, I know that's not him. Thanks anyway.
