The following herbs have a terrific effect on relieving the symptoms of mild insomnia: California Poppy, Chamomile, Kava, Lemon Balm, Passion Flower and Valerian Root. Chamomile tea often proves most effective when sipped a half an hour to forty-five minutes before going to bed.
