What is the most annoying part of Mahalo spam?
Three questions:
Why, then, doesn't Mahalo prevent us from getting the emails from spam posts?
How long, if at all, will it be until Mahalo stops these emails from arriving at our inboxes?
In your opinion, what is the most annoying part of Mahalo spam?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

"Mahalo has the ability to instantly remove spam posts" - I try :)
When I am online I have a Mahalo window open and I work as fast as I possibly can to get to the spam as it comes in so this is why you get the emails but upon opening the thread find the spam posting gone. Right now the best way to avoid the emails is to alter your email notifications within your profile.
I know this makes it a little more "walkaboutish" to see if anyone has answered your questions but until the Mahalo office fixes that we have to just check our profile alerts to see if someone has answered any of our questions.

Are you saying that Mahalo's spam filter is, literally, you and a mouse?
Yes, myself and a mouse, we are the front lines. :)
