The big thing that is the biggest problem in our society is consumerism. Everyone wants to buy as much as possible stuff and a lot of people buy more stuff that they can afford. They have to loan money for it, pay interest and therefore they have to work for their whole live just to pay for the new bling bling car, the swimming pool in the garden etc.
