Broad Street is the longest street in Philadelphia, PA running approximately 12.5 miles. There is a north and south Broad Street with Philadelphia City Hall as the breakpoint. South Broad Street starts at the Philadelphia Naval Yard and goes past the stadium area which has been newly refurbished for all the sporting and concert events that take place. The subway runs underneath Broad Street practically the entire length. Broad Street between Spruce and Market is known as the Avenue of the Arts and includes the cities best art galleries, The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and the Academy of Music. Maps of Philadelphia streets abound but I personally like Google maps.
