A globular cluster is a collection of stars that are grouped together in a spherical pattern via gravity and contain anywhere between 10's of thousands to millions of stars.
The majority of globular clusters in the Milky Way can be found in the constellation of Sagittarius (e.g. M54 http://www.delphes.net/messier/m/m054.html)
On a dark night from Northern latitudes, you can probably see M22 (http://www.delphes.net/messier/m/m022.html) which is also a globular cluster.
