What is the future of the Chronicles of Narnia movies? Will they ever make the rest of them?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third installment, will be directed by Michael Apted and co-produced by 20th Century Fox, is scheduled to be released in December 2010.

The Silver Chair will be the fourth film in the series. Andrew Adamson, the director of the first two movies in the series, has indicated that he wants films two through four to be released closely together, which implies that The Silver Chair will most likely be made if The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a bigger box office hit than Prince Caspian.[8] However, pre-production has not yet started.

I can't wait!

The difference is that the Harry Potter movies are basically good, whereas at least the 2nd Narnia film pretty much sucked. The first one was just ok.

Gosh... CoN movies (tv and film) have had such a spotty time. It's like Harry Potter... people have really enjoyed the books, but to put together all the movies is a HUGE undertaking.

Harry Potter had already been making a HUGE amount of money, so people wanted to invest in those movies to make even MORE money. The Narnia series isn't a popular/money-making as Harry Potter, unfortunately.
