What is the Future of Famous Bloggers Club FBC100 ?
My Question is Should FBC100 have it’s own social network application? Or it’s better to keep it simple as a blog?
What is the good platforms out there of social networks that has award points system depending on members activities? (plz recommend some open source applications as I am going to tip the best answer!)

Transforming it into a Social Network can both be positive and negative. There are a lot of social networks out there and you do not want to be "just another social network". There must something unique about it to differentiate it from the "just another" out there. Again, it is all a matter of "what do you want it to be"? I believe that having 100 members, closed and all helping each other will benefit more than an open network. again, ask your members their opinion and see what ideas and suggestions they might come up with.
As far as open source applications, I have to admit that I am not very familiar with them. However, try this thread I have found which appears to have good sources and are all Java Based: http://www.manageability.org/blog/stuff/java-open-source-social-network
