What is the fastest way to make money on Mahalo?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Mahalo has been offering tips for about 6 months now (give or take, if you count the days we transition in new features)
Mahalo Answers, was the first part of Mahalo to offer tips. So far we have a few users who have already earned over $1000 by simply answering questions. The key to earning money quickly is to offer great research on the expensive questions and correct research on the smaller questions.
On top of that we have recently added Mahalo tasks and Topic Pages the jury is still out on how much you can earn here, we have tasks posted all the time and I am sure the Mahalo Dollars are likely to add up quickly.
Topic Pages, this is where users will eventually be earning the most money, they were launched about a month ago and we had a few weeks are pure bug killing, there are still bugs to be ironed out but I think we are finally starting to see great results.
The top pages earn about $50/mo but with a little bit of promotion and the bigger Mahalo gets the greater income all pages will begin earning. All in all if you add all three together just by hanging out at Mahalo you can earn some money... but not exactly a living.... yet :D
