What is the easiest way to dry fruit slices (peaches, nectarines, apricots, ect.) without an expensive machine thingy?

Oven drying is probably the easiest and most reliable way to dry fruit, although sun drying is possible if the weather is hot enough and dry enough. The fruit needs to be washed, pitted, and sliced, and pretreatment such as blanching may be needed before drying to preserve the fruit's color. For oven drying, place the fruit on racks, heat the oven to about 140 F (60 C), prop the oven door open to let steam escape, and allow to dry for 4-12 hours. If the fruit is being prepared for long-term storage, post-drying treatments may also be needed.
