Norton anti-virus and Kaspersky, both are very good anti-virus programs and provide better protection. Every product have its own features, like Norton anti-virus software has the facility to prevent homepage hijacking or browser hijacking, Sonar protection, file insight, threat insight, insight network. These features comes with only Norton, you cannot fine these in Kaspersky anti-virus software.
Many versions of Norton Anti-virus software have been released since 2006 edition. The versions are – Norton 2007- windows Vista compatibility was introduced in this release, Norton 2008- include new feature like Sonar, Norton 2009- new feature include Norton insight, Norton 2010- new feature added Autopsy, and Norton 2011, the most new version of Norton.
Norton version 2009 released some new features like Sonar, file insight. In the 2010 version of Norton, include upgraded Sonar called Sonar 2 with features like Norton insight, and a new feature was introduced called Autopsy.
