The basic that Fahrenheit and Celsius they measure temperature. Fahrenheit is part of the English system use commonly in USA while majority of the world uses Celsius part of the Metric System. I’ve link the sources for a couple of videos to show how you can convert Fahrenheit to Celsius and viceversa.
The roll of temperatures in Chemistry is to know an Elements boiling point, melting and freezing point.
A good example is waters’ boiling point is 100 degrees Celsius or 212 degrees Fahrenheit. The freezing point of water is 0 degree Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
This can be also used in metals to know how hot it can be to melt like silver melts on 961.78 Celsius or 1763.2 Fahrenheit.
Temperature is involve everywhere in our lives not just living things but non-living things as well.
If this is an assignment good luck
