What is the diference between Mozilla Firefox and Windows Internet Explorer? Which one is better?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

-More secure (uses sandboxing technology)
-Extension (that can make it more useful and more secure)
Example: Block adds, Change the way tabs work, Block Flash, Block Javascript
-Doesn't Use ActiveX - IE is always running into problems with ActiveX being exploitable
-The Search bar (in the top right hand corner you can set it to search google, bing, wikipedia, webster, without going to the site)
Personal Opinion: IE took like 10 years to add tabs. Microsoft is a follower not a leader in this field. It dominates the market because Windows is everywhere. And people don't know better.

M$Also, if the sites you like have alot of javascript, use Chrome.
If you like browsing without much infection, Firefox.
However, what you should look at is the future. IE9, Chrome OS, etc...
It comes down to a user preferance imho.

M$IMHO though, I'd say Internet Explorer has grown a lot and has been quite user friendly and fast; though I kinda wish they had a password manager or some sort built-in like Firefox. Each browser has it's advantages, to be honest.
Firefox
- faster website loading time
Internet Explorer
- faster program loading time
Firefox has amazing extensions.
IE has ActiveX.
(which may not be as useful for certain users, but it's amazing for certain websites/web application that uses it)
I'd thought I'd add a little humor here..
