Conspiracy theories have been part of the human condition for centuries, and probably existed before written history. It’s understandable that when humans had little knowledge of the universe we live in, myths and rumors of conspiracy were common. However nowadays, when we should know better, wild and wacky conspiracy theories abound.
One such is the theory that Reptilians, who live in the vast hollow space that exists inside the earth are somehow controlling our thoughts, causing conflicts and wars. British writer David Icke contends that green reptilian humanoids from the Alpha Draconis star system, in addition to being shape-shifters, and mischief- makers, drink our blood, and are related to most of the world leaders. (Well, when I look at some of the world’s leaders, this might not be so far-fetched.) Icke has supporters in 47 countries, and several thousand supporters attend his lectures.
In spite of the fact that science has completely discredited the hollow-earth theory and the existence of hidden green reptilian shape shifters, many people still believe.
Personally, I don’t fully believe in any conspiracy theory, although I’m willing to concede that some of the stories circulating about governments around the world could be true.
